Jacek Kurski without a mandate. How did he react?

Jacek Kurski did not appear at the PiS election evening. However, his main competitor, Adam Bielan, spoke to the media. In a short conversation with him, he was asked about Kurski.

I talked to him, he is actually nervous, which is understandable, said Adam Bielan.

The nervousness is justified, because Jacek Kurski has spent the last few weeks working intensively in the field. He tried to convince the inhabitants of the Masovian Voivodeship in various ways. He attended “fairs on trading days”, appeared at concerts – he thanked Świerzyński, Bayer Full and Zenek Martyniuk for their support. He visited larger and smaller towns, family festivals, handed out leaflets and shook hands. And all this is like blood in the sand, because the election results leave no doubt – there will be no mandate to the European Parliament. 32,000 votes are not enough to plan a move to Brussels.

The European Parliament elections in Poland gave a slight advantage to the Civic Coalition over Law and Justice. The turnout was 40 percent. and was as much as five percentage points lower than in 2019, when the previous elections to the European Parliament were held.

The European Parliament is not for TV stars

Jacek Kurski was not the only one who did not get a seat in the European Parliament. Dominika Chorosińska (PiS), Krystyna Demska-Olbrychska (KO), and Dorota Stalińska (KO) will not go to Brussels to work.
