“Whoever Seen, Whoever Knows” is a program that has been broadcast intermittently since 1996 and aims to help families of missing people search for their loved ones. Each issue contains reportage materials, reconstructions of events and conversations with loved ones, and assistance under the program is completely free of charge.
The decision to liquidate was one of the last decisions made by the TVP authorities at that time. The missionary program returns after a short break
The last time the program was removed from broadcast was at the end of 2023, when Mateusz Matyszkowicz was still in charge of Telewizja Polska. This decision was justified by savings, but the magazine’s editorial staff pointed out that its suspension was completely incomprehensible and fought for its reinstatement.
“The decision that has been made not only ties our hands as to further actions, but is incomprehensible and devastating to us. We still believe that there is still room on Public Television for programs that provide real help,” wrote the program’s journalists. The situation changed when the wind of change came to TVP.
According to Wirtualne Media, new episodes of the “Whoever has seen, whoever knows” magazine will be broadcast every Friday, starting from Friday, June 7. Then the premiere broadcast will take place on TVP3 Katowice, and the premiere on the nationwide TVP3 band will take place on Saturdays at 12:00. The replay will be broadcast on Sunday at 10:45 p.m.
The program format remains unchanged. As before, the TVP local branch in Katowice is responsible for the production of the program – said the TVP corporate communications department.
