As a result of the changes that took place at Telewizja Polska at the end of last year, many of the station’s current employees resigned from their positions. Some, such as Michał Rachoń and Danuta Holecka, received new jobs at TV Republika. The station’s schedule even includes programs that are confusingly similar to those known from the former TVP. This includes the news service “Dzisiaj”, which Danuta Holecka announced from the beginning with the words “I invite you to the real, Polish ‘Wiadomości'”, referring to the name of the evening edition of information on TVP before the changes.
Recycled strip on Republika TV
It was on the above-mentioned website that on June 3, material about the Green Deal and Donald Tusk’s decision was broadcast. “Tuskowe is draining Poles’ pockets” – this was the title on the strip, while Danuta Holecka announced the upcoming news. It turned out that an identical strip appeared two years ago on Polish Television during one of the January editions of “Wiadomości”. This was noticed by the administrators of the Facebook profile “I watch the news because I can’t afford legal highs”, who posted two screenshots on their website – one from Telewizja Polska, the other from TV Republika. “Respect for recycling. I guess the strip one was simply moved to a new episode of propaganda,” we read in the post.
“As many as 78 percent of Poles are against the Green Deal – this is what the latest survey shows. This is not surprising, because, among other things, due to the regulations introduced by Eurocrats, electricity and gas bills will soon go up significantly, and we will all feel it. The opposition is talking about ” Tusk”, because the current government has not blocked the green madness, in many points it even supports it. Tomorrow in Brussels there will be a big protest of farmers, also from Poland, whose demands have not changed for several months” – the Green Deal should be thrown away – Danuta announced on Republika TV Holecka.
