On the second day of the festival in Opole, comedians from Kabaret Skeczów Męczemych, Moralny Niepokoju, Młodych Panów, Nowaki, K2, Grupa Mozart and Zbigniew Zamachowski, Zenon Laskowik and Jerzy Kryszak performed on the amphitheater stage. The first group presented to the audience a skit about astronauts returning to Earth after 26 years of space travel. The cabaret artists joked mainly about politicians of the previous ruling party, i.e. Andrzej Duda, Mateusz Morawiecki, Daniel Obajtek and Jarosław Kaczyński. The most popular Polish detective and celebrity, Krzysztof Rutkowski, also got into trouble.
“Kabareton” 2024: Kabaret Skeczów Męczemych made a joke about Krzysztof Rutkowski
Artists from the Kabaret Skeczów Męczemych played the roles of astronauts who, after returning to their homeland, were brought before the “Planeta plus” investigative commission. The travelers had to explain what was happening in space – they were also looking for answers to their questions. At one point, one of the cosmonauts decided that he and his companion were sent into space because they were brave. “Man, they sent us into space because we’re brave!” – he announced, to which the second astronaut replied: “And there are not many brave people in Poland?! For example, this detective Rutkowski. He even looks as if he was in a different orbit” – he said, and there were bursts of laughter in the stands and applause.
The cosmonauts also debated why Krzysztof Rutkowski did not take part in the space mission. “I don’t know, maybe they didn’t have square helmets. I don’t know, maybe he counted the child’s communion money,” said one of the astronauts. The square helmet is, of course, an allusion to the detective’s characteristic hairstyle. The communion money refers to the impressive gift that Krzysztof Rutkowski gave his son on the day of this holiday.
