The obligatory “Strange is this world” and “Starting with Cain” were heard from the stage. Natalia Niemen sang songs in her own interpretation, which the listeners did not particularly like. Those accustomed to her father’s timeless voice criticized the performance quite sharply.

The singer chose very difficult songs, and although she had no problems with performing them, she was severely criticized. As always, there were more opinions not about whether people liked the songs even in this arrangement, but about the quality of the singing – as it is commonly known, every viewer automatically becomes an expert.

Natalia Niemen also posted one of the Opole performances on her social media, and the recording was also posted on YouTube. And there we will find completely different comments. On Instagram, one might still suspect that there were only comments favorable to the singer, but on YouTube the audience is everyone. There are a lot of words of support here:
I looked here because I was curious about the comments under the video with Mrs. Natalia. And just as I thought there would be a lot of criticism and misunderstanding. Her father, Czesław Niemen, was also perceived as a controversial artist at the beginning of his career. At that time, he did not fit into the canons of music and other performers. Some listeners need to mature and mature to receive such artists.
It’s not easy music, but Niemen wasn’t for everyone either. It is different, but unique, not standard. I buy it.
