British singer Adele stopped a concert for a few moments this weekend in Las Vegas after hearing someone in the audience shouting “pride stinks”, in reference to the annual celebration carried out by the LGTBI community.
According to him video of the performance posted on social networks and picked up by several local media, the singer of ‘Set Fire to the Rain‘, a well-known defender of the rights of the LGTBI community, stopped her performance and addressed the person who had supposedly shouted in the audience.
“Excuse me, did you come to my damn concert and you said ‘pride sucks’” Adele said in an angry tone. “Are you fucking stupid? “Don’t be so fucking ridiculous,” she snapped. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, you might as well shut up.” “Is that okay?” continued the singer while applause and shouts of support were heard among the Caesar Palace audience.
Adele maintains a series of special concerts in Las Vegas during the weekends that began in 2021 and will take a break in August to perform in the German city of Munich before returning to the United States next November.
