The first wife of the host of “Familiada” was Barbara Burska, a graduate of the State Theater School in Warsaw, who began her professional career by performing on the stage of Warsaw theaters. She was the one who persuaded Strasburger to apply to film school. The marriage of the presenter and the actress broke up after less than two years. “It was a beautiful period, but… two children got married. We were married for a short time, but we are still friends today,” Barbara Burska once told the weekly “Angora”.

Irena Morcińczyk and Karol Strasburger were together for 32 years

Karol Strasburger met his second wife through friends. At that time, Irena Morcińczyk was in a relationship with Andrzej Jaroszewicz, but he was considered a womanizer and a lover of a carefree lifestyle. When he tried to seduce Maryla Rodowicz, the host of “Familiada” approached Morcińczyk. She eventually became his wife in 1981. Karol and Irena were considered an ideal couple. They had many common passions and views in common. They went on many journeys together, and their future looked bright. Strasburger’s love for his wife was noticed by everyone around him.

The marriage of Karol and Irena lasted until 2013 – that’s when the presenter’s beloved died of leukemia, which she had been fighting for two years. Małgorzata Weremczuk turned out to support the mourning Strasburger. The manager knew both the presenter and his deceased wife. Over time, their relationship developed into a deeper feeling, which ultimately took the couple to the altar in 2019.
