It is therefore not surprising that a decision was made to continue the fate of the characters, which, as it quickly turned out, met with equally great interest from viewers and was a great turnout success. What is “The In-Laws 2” about? The cast included a galaxy of the biggest stars
is a comic and ironic story by Kalina Aladrukińska, a direct reference to the original, which touches on intergenerational differences and ponders over the advisability of formalizing a relationship. Its main characters are wannabes, Weronika and Łukasz, who decide to give themselves another chance. The couple goes into full swing with preparations for what is, in theory, the most important day of their lives. The list of invited guests includes well-known people, including: Wanda and Tadeusz, who have 30 years of experience under their belt, and their beloved Mirelka, not a child, but a dog. They will also be accompanied by divorcee Małgorzata, who will be accompanied by Jan, who is several years younger than her, and… his mother.
The main roles were played by Weronika Chrapek and Łukasz Wilk, and they were accompanied on the screen by a galaxy of the biggest Polish stars. These included, among others: Maja Ostaszewska, Ewa Dałkowska and Adam Woronowicz, who created the characters known from the first part. – I accepted the role because I have no money – honestly, an actor. I don’t think anyone needs to be reminded that “The In-Laws 2” became a cinema hit. The production had its world premiere on September 13, 2023, and only 2 days later it hit the big screens. According to , the screenings were watched by over 600,000 people in total. viewers, which is a record result, especially for this genre. The success is also confirmed by numerous comments under the production’s trailers on YouTube. Many Internet users agreed that this is one of the best comedy series in Polish cinema in recent years.
