In one of the last episodes, the story of a widow and the mother of a several-year-old boy was shown. Despite the difficult situation, the woman works normally. Elżbieta Romanowska was impressed by how the heroine of the program manages to reconcile her private and professional life. She asked her about her family situation and how it happened that she was left alone with the child. It turned out that her husband committed suicide. – It was my husband’s choice, because two months after our wedding he took his own life. In our house where we lived then. I tried to resuscitate him, but I couldn’t, she explained. The heroine of the program does not know why her partner decided to take such a step. She suspects that he may have been depressed, which she didn’t know about, or that he was undergoing psychiatric treatment, which she also didn’t know about.

This is not the only tragedy that has happened to a woman. When she was little, her father died in the same circumstances as her husband. He orphaned three children: the heroine of the program and two sons. – We came across orphanages and foster families. My mother was a drug addict, she confessed. While the father was alive, the responsibility of taking care of the children fell to him. The mother did not feel cared for. When he went abroad, the heroine of the program experienced unpleasant situations at home. – We stayed with our mother, who didn’t bathe us, didn’t feed us, didn’t make food for us. We were a bit of street children, she said. After the father’s death, the mother gave up her parental rights. The woman was taken into the care of her grandmother, and her brothers were taken to an orphanage. Over time, they were adopted by a family from abroad. – No trace of them has been lost. I’ve been looking for them for 20 years, she confessed. With the help of a detective, we managed to contact the siblings and all three of them are now in contact.
