Maleñczuk harshly about Podsiadło. “He could at least try to do something more f**king ambitious”

Maciej Maleńczuk criticizes the work of Dawid Podsiadło

During a conversation with Marcin Meller, the singer commented on the work of Dawid Podsiadło and Sanah, who have been ruling the Polish music scene for several years. Maciej Maleńczuk did not have a very good opinion about the young artist’s musical achievements. The singer, however, treated Sanah’s work a bit more leniently, as he believed it more deserved to “fill stadiums” during concerts.

During a conversation with Marcin Meller, Maciej Maleńczuk stated that he did not like the fact that the 31-year-old artist sold out all tickets to his concerts. In his opinion, Dawid Podsiadło’s work is focused on material gains, even though his talent cannot be denied. “I don’t like the fact that Podsiadło fills stadiums, while Sanah can fill them. I don’t like Podsiadło. I think he’s mercantile to the core. As a young man, he could have at least come close to something more f**king ambitious. In general, it’s a talented boy. Everything is fine there. But he is not worth filling stadiums,” began Maciej Maleńczuk.

The leader of the Homo Twist group admitted that he liked the first single from last year’s album “Lats of the Twenties”, but the second track disappointed him greatly. “To tell you the truth, I once heard a cool song on the radio. I thought to myself: ‘Fuck, I wish it wasn’t just Podsiadło’. And it turned out that it was Podsiadło after all. It was a song called “Post”. But this song they took it off the air because it turned out that it caused some bad reactions. Instead, there was a song called ‘Bość jest się’ (most likely it’s about the song ‘To co mam Ty!’), another piece of crap, but I liked ‘Post’ . As you can see: the boy can do something cool, but someone forces him to be mercantile. – commented Maleńczuk.

The singer spoke a little more leniently about Sanah’s work. “All you have to do is put a wreath and a dress on her. Let her run around the meadows and sing poetry. She has the voice of an old lady. As if she was 80 years old. But this is not the first such voice in the history of Polish songs. Natalia Przybysz also has such a voice,” he summed up .

Let us remind you that this is not the first time that Maciej Maleńczuk openly criticized Dawid Podsiadło. Last year, during a visit to Kuba Wojewódzki’s program, the singer said that he did not understand the phenomenon of the young artist: “I think he is not worth it.”
