While for the first dozen or so years Barbara’s story was absorbing and constantly provided viewers with new emotions, this has changed significantly recently. The scriptwriters rather focus on developing these new, younger characters, whose adventures set the course of the plot. This fact is regretted not only by the viewers, but also by Lipowska herself, who a few months ago in an interview for directly admitted that her character was simply starting to “be boring”. – I think this series still has interesting different plots. Mine isn’t interesting anymore, she said bitterly.
At the same time, she emphasized that she was not particularly surprised by this fact, after all, this is the way of things. – After 23 years, there’s not much you can do to make it more attractive, especially since Barbara Mostowiak is an old lady. Before, she had a family for whom she did a lot, and she was worried about her son’s failures. Currently, it only “is there,” she said. For this reason, she decided to introduce a bit of freshness herself, changing, among others: hairstyle. Now it turns out that this is not the only novelty that awaits soap opera fans in the new season.

One of the characters loved by viewers was once Małgosia Chodakowska, whom she played in the years 2000-2013. Rumors that her plot would be resumed have been appearing regularly for years, but now they have been fueled by the scriptwriters themselves. In one of the last episodes, Barbara was looking through an album with photos of her youngest child, who, after leaving for the United States, sank like a stone into water. Thus, she asked Marcin Chodakowski (played by ) to make another attempt to find her.
Does this mean that Koroniewska will return to the screens, although she previously refused to do so? Or maybe the producers will decide on a similar solution as in the case of Natalia Mostowiak, and another actress will play her? There is a constant buzz of gossip behind the scenes, which Lipowska decided to address in her interview. – I have no opinion on this, I will play whatever they tell me, but I don’t think the person who played her will play her again. Just someone new, she said enigmatically, but didn’t want to reveal anything more. – But I don’t know anything, I haven’t played anything like that with Małgosia before.
