Audiences have been waiting for this film for almost 40 years. The new trailer delighted and parodied “Dune”. “Beautiful”

Fans of the cult film “Beetlejuice” by Tim Burton can now rub their hands and count down to the premiere of the sequel. A new trailer for the production has appeared on the Internet and it is wonderful.

36 years old. This much time has passed since the premiere of “Beetlejuice”, which is one of Tim Burton’s most characteristic works. Today we know that the production will be continued, and the premiere of “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice” is scheduled for September 4, 2024.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

For now, the plot of the film is not fully known, but we know that Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder returned to their unforgettable roles. Jenna Ortega, who worked with Burton on “Wednesday”, as well as Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe also joined the cast.

In the first photos from the set, we could admire Ortega in a wedding dress. In turn, a short teaser of the production showed us the characters in a funeral scenery. The minute-long video also featured the highly anticipated Michael Keaton in the title role. Now, a full-fledged trailer of the long-awaited production has finally appeared online.

Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega in the trailer for Tim Burton’s new film

The video is narrated by Winona Ryder, the film’s Lydia Deetz. From the recording we learn that the funeral, which the creators showed viewers in previous announcements of Burton’s new work, is the farewell of Astrid’s (Jenna Ortega) grandfather. The latest trailer also explains how Beetlejuice returned to the world of the living. It turns out that Lydia’s daughter did not believe her mother’s story about the demon who wanted to force her to marry.

Astrid scoffed at the story and mockingly said a spell summoning the titular character. “Can the living and the dead coexist?” – Lydia asks the audience as more crazy shots from the movie appear on the screen. Some of them suggest that for some reason Lydia and Beetlejuice will be forced to work together. The culmination of the recording is a clear reference to “Dune”, when the heroines of the production escape from the Burton “worm” in a sandy scenery.

Viewers are delighted with the highly anticipated segment. “It looks great”, “something beautiful”, “the atmosphere is preserved, I can’t wait” – they write in the comments.
