The house was in danger of collapsing and it was impossible to live in it again. – Unfortunately, you can’t live in the house. Going inside may result in disability or even death, because the ground beneath the building has collapsed along with piles of mud, he said, embittered. – I feel sorry for this house, as well as for my entire family. We liked him and devoted a lot of time to him. My wife’s garden was also ruined, he added. However, the Wodecki family were so attached to this place that they decided to build another one, this time a dozen or so meters from the place where the original one was located.

Wodecki didn’t have time to enjoy his new home. After his death, the estate was inherited by his family, who visited it regularly for some time. However, the artist’s absence was felt, which was also noticed by the neighbors. In a conversation with the media, they even emphasized that Winiary was deserted and would never be the same again. – This is a great loss for our community, we treated him like a resident – musician Zbigniew Włodarczyk, then village head, in an interview for the “Życie na hot” magazine. – When I met him, I was shocked at first because he was already famous then and his behavior was ordinary.
