Netflix broke the bank with one title. “Reindeer” is far behind

“Reindeer”, “The Three-Body Problem”, “The Gentlemen”… The hit series from recent months pale in comparison to the viewership results of the latest premiere. “The Bridgertons” outclassed the competition.

They barely made it to Netflix. and already “” they showed, . Less than a week has passed since the premiere of the third season of the show, and this season already has a better result than any series since the beginning of January.

Netflix showed the results of the third season of “Bridgerton”. Declassification

Four days – that’s how long the third season of “Bridgerton” needed to gather over 45 million viewers around the world. This is the best result in many months, and was only matched by the January series based on Harlan Coben’s prose “You Can’t Fool Me Anymore” (37 million viewers in the first week of premiere).

It didn’t even stop him from showing only the first four episodes of “Bridgerton,” leaving the season finale for June. According to “The Hollywood Reporter” calculations, the third season has left the second one behind, and in the last year it can only be equaled by the feature-length film with Millie Bobby Brown “The Lady” from March 2024 (35 million viewers).

Good news for Netflix – the series is still very popular, it already has loyal viewers who will be happy to watch not only the finale of the third season, but also the continuation in the fourth season (and perhaps even more). This is also a plus for viewers – Netflix has much fewer arguments to definitely give up “Bridgerton”. The series does not require any extraordinary financial outlays – filming in Great Britain takes place with minimal use of quite expensive special effects, it does not require gigantic and diverse sets, and the script actually writes itself based on the completed series of books by Julia Quinn. Possible problems may be caused by fatigue of the actors taking part in the project. The resignation of individual people (Rege-Jean Page) was managed to be concealed, but if Nicola Coughlan or Claudia Jessie, who played her characteristic friend Eloise, were to leave, “The Bridgertons” would encounter big problems. However, it seems that the success of the series effectively discourages actors from escaping from the set.
