These scenes from “M jak miłość” remained in the fans’ memories for a long time. The scene of the fire in the Mostowiak house in Grabin, broadcast in the last pre-holiday episode, provided an unforgettable experience. To realize this dramatic moment, the creators of the series had to reach out for help – firefighters and stuntmenwho ensured safety on the set.

Dramatic season finale

Episode 1151, aired on June 9, 2015, ended the season with a bang. The madman Rafał, played by Przemysław Bluszcz, he decided to destroy the life of Anna (Tamara Arciuch) and set fire to the Mostowiak house. The flames quickly engulfed the entire building, destroying the legacy of the Mostowiak family. Marek (Kacper Kuszewski) watched with horror as the fire reduced everything to ashes.

A unique challenge on set

Shooting the fire scenes was quite a challenge. As Kacper Kuszewski recalls, everything was carefully planned, which helped minimize stress. “We had stuntmen and a fire brigade on set, everything was perfect. It smelled like a real feature film, which added to the excitement” – said the actor in “Backstage of the series M jak miłość”.

Safety first

The presence of firefighters on set was essential to ensure safety both the actors and the entire film crew. “M jak miłość” is a series that always focuses on realism, and the fire scene required exceptional precision and professionalism. Firefighters made sure that the fire did not get out of control, and stuntmen performed the most dangerous scenes.

Adrenaline on set

For Jacek Kopczyński (Adam Werner), the fire in Grabina was an incredible adventure. “This is what drives us as actors. We want you to experience similar emotions in front of your TV sets. This is the coolest scene we’ve ever played. about such dramatic and sensational moments,” he admitted in a conversation with journalists.

Actors in extreme situations

Even though most of the dangerous scenes were performed by stuntmen, some actors decided to take part in extreme shots. Kacper Kuszewski recalls the moment when he jumped through the fire himself: “There was a moment when I decided to record one scene myself, without a stuntman. I knew it would look better on camera.”
