Such a document should take the form of a contract containing all the details: dimensions and shape of the fence, construction and maintenance costs.
Pursuant to the Civil Code, a fence located on the border of plots is considered common and both parties are obliged to bear the costs of its maintenance, e.g. painting. The problem begins when one of the parties does not want to pay. Such cases often end up in court.
