Each of us has certainly experienced at least once in our lives that nerves and emotions can take over in situations that require special focus and quick action. Stress can affect anyone, regardless of whether a person is in a new situation or deals with it every day.
Hasty decisions can, of course, lead to unpleasant consequences, but mistakes are often treated with a pinch of salt. There is no shortage of these in live programs and game shows. Many ill-considered answers have been given so far, for example in the program hosted by Tadeusz Sznuk, i.e. “One of ten”. One such blunder recently amused Internet users and the participant herself, who couldn’t believe what she said.

In one of the episodes of “One of ten”, Tadeusz Sznuk asked the participant a question that apparently should not cause her any major difficulties. “What are the striped mammals of the equine family called?” – came from the presenter’s mouth. The participant had only a few seconds to answer, so without thinking she replied: “Stonki”. When the host explained that it was about zebras, she realized her mistake.
The participant’s mistake amused Internet users, who in the comments section asked why the choice fell on stonki. “Where did she get it?”, “I fell”, “Good thing it wasn’t ladybugs” – we read under the video. However, one of the people rightly pointed out how stress and nerves influence some decisions: “I think stress takes away people’s minds. She probably laughs at it herself.”
