The atmosphere in journalistic programs often reaches its zenith, especially when representatives of different political camps take part in them. This was also the case in the Sunday edition of the talk show, broadcast on Polsat News on May 19, 2024, which featured, among others, from Law and Justice and Robert Biedroń from the New Left.

Politicians met in the studio to talk, among others: about the presence of the rainbow flag at the Warsaw city hall or the removal of crosses from public offices and institutions. Each of them tried to convince them that they were right, which ultimately led to a sharp exchange of opinions and then an argument. The cup of bitterness overflowed when Czarnek called Biedroń a “degenerate man”. Then the outraged Deputy Minister of National Defense Paweł Zalewski from the Poland 2050 party spoke up, asking the host of the program Bogusław Rymanowski for a firm reaction and suggesting that he apologize to his interlocutor. – If I am to participate in this program, I would like to ask the minister to apologize to the MP – he said.
After a while, he added that differences in views do not entitle anyone to insult others and he does not consent to this type of behavior. However, the stormy exchange of words continued for several more minutes. Ultimately, Zalewski decided to resign from participating in the debate and left the studio, while Czarnek, under clear pressure from the rest of the audience, apologized for his words.
