“Girl with a Suitcase” competed with over 150 films from around the world – each of them was a winner of the local edition of 48HFP. The final took place in Lisbon, and now the Polish production will be shown at the Cannes festival. The film is already available on the Internet and can be watched for free.

Among numerous productions from around the world, Polish the short film “Girl with a Suitcase” was a spectacular success, winning the Polish edition of the prestigious 48 Hour Film Project competition. Now the film will be presented in the prestigious Short Film Corner section at the 77th Film Festival in , which starts on Tuesday.

Seven-minute production of “Girl with a Suitcase” tells a story about illegal border crossing. The main character is a smuggler who accepts the order. Creators and Cast

The film’s director is Tomek Wilczyński, the script was written by Jan Steifer, and Stanisław Wójcik was responsible for the cinematography. The film stars both well-known actors and newcomers. The cast includes Paweł Tomaszewski and Paulina Gałązka, and Nilufar Nazarova made her debut in the main role

Film at the Cannes festival

This is the second year in a row that the winner of the Polish edition of 48 Hour Film Project is invited to . ““Girl with a Suitcase” competed with over 150 films from around the world, all of them were winners of local editions of 48HFP. The international final of the competition took place in March at the Filmapalooza festival in Lisbon, where the Polish production was distinguished as one of the best in the world.

“Girl with a Suitcase” will be shown on May 22 in France. The Studio Hologram team, including the producer of 48HFP in Poland, Maria Leśnodorska-Lis, will be present at the Cannes Festival from May 19 to 25, promoting their production and meeting with representatives of the film industry from around the world.

Sudio Hologram is a group of filmmakers who have been creating short fiction films, music videos and advertising projects since 2019. Tomek Wilczyński, director and producer of “Girls with a Suitcase”, has collaborated with many famous artistssuch as Andrzej Seweryn, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Tomasz Kot, Agata Kulesza, Jakub Gierszał, Mata, Pezet, Kwiat Jabłoni, Julia Wieniawa and Monika Brodka.
