How to combat aphids on blueberries? You can do it at home

Aphids are small insects that can weaken any plant. They feed on their fluids, which damages fruits, leaves and flowers. They multiply quickly, so if you notice that they are present in your garden, be sure to spray them. Pour water into a liter spray bottle and add 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda. Mix thoroughly and spray in places where aphids have appeared. It is best to do this in the evening, as the sun combined with the mixture could burn the plant.

Even the most unhealthy crops can be attacked by gray mold. Once established in your garden, it can spread to all fruits and vegetables. Diagnosing the disease is not difficult. When it attacks the plant, we can see yellow-brown spots on the leaves and stems. Then you will notice a gray coating, which may spread further by dusting. In this situation it is best to use from onion, which we apply to the affected areas. Put about 300 g of onion skins into the pot, pour 2 cups of water and cook for 35 minutes. Pour into a spray bottle and use once a day until you notice the mold stops.

You can also act preventively and prepare a garlic “cocktail”.. Press about 100 g of garlic into a 5-liter bottle and leave for 5 days. During this time, shake the bottle twice a day.
