If you plant beans and peas next to the strawberries, the seedlings will grow luxuriantly and quickly. This will happen thanks to nitrogen, which will be supplied to the soil thanks to the legumes. Peppermint is also a great companion for strawberries. Not only will it enrich the taste of the fruit, but its aroma will keep pests away.
If we want to be free from pulling weeds, let’s sow spinach between the strawberries. It suppresses weed growth, and because it does not grow too tall, it does not pose a threat to the bushes.
