Years later, it turned out that for greater authenticity, the actors allowed themselves to be talked into real close-ups in front of the camera. Bob Guccione was supposed to be one of the film’s producers. Moreover, thanks to him, perverse group shots were not just fiction.

In an interview for Esquire, the director revealed that most of the shots were real, and the main actors, Aomi Muyock and Karl Glusman, did not prepare for them at all and simply “went with the flow”. – They kissed for the first time on the first day of shooting, and most of the erotic scenes in the film are real.
