Tony began his stunt career in 2011 in an episode of the TV hit “Bones”. Then he appeared on the set of big-budget cinema productions such as “The Hunger Games” or “Captain America: Civil War”. Over time, Mc Farr started working with Chris Pratt.

The double replaced the star for the first time on the set of “Jurassic World” in 2015. The actors worked so well together that McFarr became Pratt’s stunt double in “Passengers”, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and the unlucky Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”. Tony had an accident on the set of the production.

Over the years, Chris Pratt has shared with fans his fondness for the stunt double. As news of McFarr’s death spread, the Star Lord actor posted a touching post on his Instagram.

“I am devastated by the loss of my friend and former stunt double, Tony McFarr. We made several films together. We played golf, drank whiskey, smoked cigars and spent countless hours on set,” Pratt writes. “He was always a gentleman and professional. We will miss him,” adds the actor.

In recent years, Tony has put acting on the back burner. He focused on running several restaurants, including a movie-themed restaurant.
