The participants of the sixth season of the TVP program, “Sanatorium Miłości”, summarized their experiences as full of emotions and joy. “We overcame our fears, played like children, and opened up to ourselves and others. “Some of us got to know the taste of love again,” they said with enthusiasm. The last, final episode, broadcast on May 12, crowned weeks full of fun, emotions and new acquaintances.
King and Queen of the Sanatorium
Traditionally, the finale of the “Sanatorium of Love” season included the election of the king and queen of the tournament. Of all the patients, this one Maria and Stanisław won the greatest sympathy from their fellow participants. Hailed as a queen, Mary was appreciated for her personality and appearance. “She is beautiful inside and out,” emphasized Janina, one of the program participants. In turn, Stanisław won the title of king thanks to his tact and class, which was noticed by his companions.
Love in a sanatorium
Among the participants who became the closest to each other, Tadeusz and Janina stood out. Their relationship caused the most emotions among viewers. “I feel like a princess, I don’t know if it’s a fairy tale – said Janina, moved. Tadeusz assured his fiancée that he was thinking about the relationship very seriously, planning their further life together outside the cameras.
Opinions about the season
The sixth edition of “Sanatorium of Love” aroused various emotions among the viewers. Some people criticized the selection of participants, pointing to the dominance of negative emotions. TVP was accused of focusing more on creating a show than on showing real relationships and emotions. However, the finale changed the minds of many viewers who praised the ending of the season. “Good job for TVP”, “The best edition of Sanatorium”, “Beautiful ending”, “I was moved, so I shed a tear. “Sanatorium of Love” is original TVP format, broadcast from January 2019. Hosted by Marta Manowska, the program has already had six seasons and has gained enormous popularity. The format in which seniors spend four weeks in Polish health resorts won the hearts of viewers, attracting millions of Poles to their TV sets. The latest season, despite the audience drop below 2 million, still enjoys great interest and recognition from fans.
