Despite this, it is not entirely known what happened behind the scenes of the event, as the situation is full of understatements. According to media reports, after Thursday’s semi-final, the singer allegedly directed threats towards a member of the team. Apparently, he was recorded and photographed during the rehearsal, although he had previously asked not to do so. This was intended to enrage him and lead to a “physical confrontation.”
In connection with the incident, a complaint was filed with the local police and an investigation was launched to clarify the matter. The Eurovision organizers decided to distance themselves from the scandal and made the decision, claiming that his continued participation in the event would be morally wrong.

Few people know that before the scandal broke out, further performances by Joost Klein were announced as part of the “Europapa tour 2025”, including one also in Poland. According to the announcement, the singer will play at the Hydrozagadka Club in Warsaw on March 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets, in turn, will go on sale on May 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. and will be available both via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
