“Kawa na ławy” is a Polish journalistic program broadcast live on the TVN24 channel. The first episode was broadcast on April 23, 2006. Since 2018, it has been run by Konrad Piasecki, and the guests are mainly politicians. Each issue lasts about an hour, during which the events of the previous week are commented on. In Sunday’s episode, there was a sharp exchange of words between the invited politicians.
The former judge’s case has heated up politicians. They talked about him in the “Kawa na Ława” program
One of the topics of conversation in Sunday’s edition of “Kawa na ława”, which heated up the atmosphere in the studio, was the issue of former judge Tomasz Sz., suspected of espionage, who asked the Belarusian authorities for asylum. The man was involved, among others, in the so-called hater. Andrzej Szejna (Left), Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz (KO), Krzysztof Hetman (PSL), Piotr Mueller (PiS) and Stanisław Tyszka (Confederation) talked about it. There was a verbal fight between the politicians, which the presenter tried to break up. There was no shortage of mutual accusations.
Scandal in the TVN24 studio. “He ran away from this answer”
The conversation was very exciting from the beginning. Like Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, when the hate scandal broke out in 2019 and was investigated by the prosecutor’s office, Tomasz Sz. was not held accountable for anything and still served as the Provincial Administrative Court. Due to the entire situation, a commission investigating not only Russian, but also Belarusian influence in Poland is to be restored. A politician from the Confederation also raised the issue of access to classified information. Andrzej Szejna reacted to his words and mentioned his meeting with Braun, whom he called a “Russophile”. – I asked him if he recommended the expulsion of the Russian ambassador from Poland. He ran away from this answer, he confessed. As Tyszka noted, the current government did not expel the ambassador either.
A sharp exchange of opinions between politicians of the Left and the Confederation. “I’m stopping this argument”
Later in the program, there were mutual accusations and verbal arguments. – You are allies, you are talking about it – said Szejna, to which he was told to “consider your words”. – You are friends of pro-Russian politics, he continued. At this point, the presenter tried to cut the conversation short. – I’m stopping this dispute – he shouted, but the politicians had no intention of ending it. Tyszka replied to the deputy minister that he could be sued for such words in the electoral process and added the accusation that he was from a party founded with money from a Moscow loan. – Now I could sue you – Szejna replied. Ultimately, the sharp exchange of opinions ended with the publication of Prime Minister Tusk’s Thursday speech. If you feel like it, vote in our poll below.
