We eat yogurt on its own, but also with fruit, oatmeal or as an ingredient in other dishes. If it stands for a long time, it often begins to delaminate and a strange liquid is produced on its surface. What is this? Many people wonder whether such dairy products are still suitable for consumption.

Regular consumption of yogurt reduces the risk of obesity, cardiovascular diseases and has a positive effect on bone mineralization. Therefore, it is worth including this product in your daily diet, of course, if you do not have food intolerance to milk sugar, i.e. lactose.

If we open a package of yogurt or other dairy products and do not use it immediately but put it in the fridge, liquid forms on its surface, which many people mistakenly perceive as a sign of the product. It’s a mistake, that’s it yogurt water is nothing more than whey that needs to be mixed, and the dairy product will still be good for consumption.
