He Eurovision Song Contest is approaching its peak moment. The starting signal was given on Tuesday, May 7, with the first semifinal, a phase of the competition in which Spain participates for the first time, but without anything at stake because it has a direct pass to the final as it is one of the countries that most money contributes to the organizer, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The same goes for Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Unlike these countries, there are others that do have a lot at stake this Thursday, the day in which he will perform Israel, despite multiple requests for its expulsion from the festival, something that was done with Russia in 2022 after invading Ukraine. Eden Golan, representative of Israel, will be one of the artists who will take the stage in Malmö (Sweden), prepared with strong security measures to host the performance of 16 countries. These are the 16 singers participating in this second Eurovision semi-final:

As a novelty, this year the Big Five countries and Sweden also perform, despite going directly to the final. Thus, France will do it between the Czech Republic and Austria and Spain, represented by Nebula with his controversial song ‘Zorra’, before San Marino. The representative of Italy will do so before Israel.
From this second semi-final, another 10 countries will emerge that manage to advance to the grand final of the Festival, joining the Big Five, Sweden, and the 10 ‘winning’ countries of the first Eurovision semi-final.
