Artur Orzech started his career as a translator and… guitarist in the band Róże Europa. He worked at Radio Dla Nasze, Radio One and Radio Three. In January 2024, to the joy of many fans of the competition, it was announced that Artur Orzech was returning to commentary. In an interview in January, he said that he did not hesitate at all when he was asked to return because he was finally “in the right place”.

The first semi-final took place on May 7, and Orzech greeted the viewers with words referring to his absence. – Artur Orzech welcomes you from the Eurovision arena in Malmö, the city that hosts the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time after five years – the journalist greeted the audience and himself.

In further words, he also referred to the Eurovision “metric” and addressed the fans and opponents of the competition.
