ViDoc TV – a new film and documentary channel on terrestrial television introduces advertising

A new film and documentary channel called ViDoc TV is broadcast on terrestrial television in position 50. Until now, viewers could enjoy the lack of advertising between programs, but this is to change at the beginning of May.

According to virtualmedia.pl, the new terrestrial TV channel, ViDoc TV, is now available on v Media. The information was provided by Leszek Kułak, president of Red Carpet TV. The broadcast began under the name of the CTV9 channel on March 15 (at position 50 in the list of decoders and TV sets). However, the station’s name and graphic design were changed. The new version of the channel, called ViDoc TV, is available from April 18.

Until now, viewers could enjoy the fact that the channel does not show advertisements. These only appeared at the beginning of the broadcast in March. However, the station promises that the advertisements will become a permanent part of the schedule at the beginning of May. For the station to continue operating, advertising is inevitable. as reported by virtualmedia.pl, ViDoc TV had to pay PLN 17.85 million for a 10-year licensewith additional annual fees of over PLN 6 million to Emitel, the operator of digital terrestrial television multiplexes.

At the same time, ViDoc TV will be covered by Nielsen telemetry research. The station is working on expanding its distribution to include satellite and cable networks. which supports many channels, has now also added ViDoc TV to its offer.

ViDoc TV, short for video and documentary, is a film and documentary station, which offers a wide selection of content for viewers. Her proposals include primarily soap operas such as “The Tempest”, “The First Lady” and “The Bold and the Beautiful”, series such as “Ambulance” and “Everest”, and films, including such cinema classics as “Bullitt”, “The Young Master” or B movies such as “The Virgin of the Living Dead”. There is also no shortage of documentaries, such as “Icons” and “Superstars”, and entertainment programs – “Muzyczny express gold” and “Secrets of the authors”.

It is worth noting that ViDoc TV not only offers classic genres, but also focuses on cultural diversity, presenting such productions as the Indian series “Everest”, the Colombian “The Most Beautiful Ugly” and the Mexican “Triumph of Love”. The station’s schedule also includes popular productions from years ago, such as “Fashion for Success” or “Bonanza”. The evening hours are reserved primarily for feature films, although there are also series devoted to celebrities, such as “Top 13 – Star Ranking”. Additionally, ViDoc TV acquired the rights to documentary films, including productions from the Czech Republic.
