How to prevent aphids from developing in the garden? Preventive actions
There are effective ways to discourage aphids from settling in your garden. First of all, get to know their natural enemies, i.e ladybugs, lacewings, sparrows, tits and rabbits. To attract ladybugs and lacewings to your garden, put up special houses for them before winter, where they can protect themselves from the cold. Installing nesting boxes will help you attract sparrows, tits and rabbits, which help rid the garden of pests. The use of natural manure, e.g. nettle, is also useful in preventing the development of aphids. If you feel like it, vote in our poll below.
