Piotr Pręgowski made his debut on the big screen in 1976 in the film “Protective Colors”. He played in such productions as “The World According to the Kiepskich”, “People of the Chudego” and “Leśniczówka”, but the role of Pietrek in the series “Ranczo” brought him the greatest popularity. He played the role in the years 2006-2009 and 2011-2016. The actor has been associated with Ewa Kuryło, who is also an actor, for over 40 years.

Piotr and Ewa met while studying at the State Drama School in Warsaw. Together they prepared the play “Children’s Room”, which brought them closer to each other. They became a couple and moved in together with Pręgowski’s parents. They didn’t plan it, but everything changed when their daughter was born. Zofia was born in 1982. Three months after this event, the couple got married.

Over the years, it turned out that Pręgowska also wanted to get involved with the film world, but in a slightly different capacity than her parents. Zofia is a graduate of directing at the Warsaw Film School. She made her debut as a director in 2014 with the documentary “Invisible”. Uprising through the eyes of children” and was based on the book of the same title by Monika Kowaleczko-Szumowska. This is a collection of stories about children and teenagers from the time of the Warsaw Uprising. In 2021, the interactive documentary film “Maharaja, or Cool Gang in India” premiered whose production manager and creative producer was Zofia Pręgowska.
