Conspiracy of Silence”, three years earlier he played a policeman in the film “Nobody Will Sleep in the Forest Today”. In the film “The Attack” he will have to face the badge again, but this time in the main role.

The action of the film “The Attack” takes place in the early 1990s. Olaf Lubaszenko will play the role of a police officer dismissed from service, who receives a unique chance to regain his former life. In return, he has only one task: to solve the bank robbery case, which is problematic for the new authorities. He is pressed for time, and everything is being watched by the media, much to the reluctance of the authorities.
Olaf Lubaszenko had to face a completely different role than before. – My hero is a complex character. On the one hand, he is a life-weary cynic in his fifties who has to deal with the departure of his wife and the lack of contact with his daughter, on the other hand, he is an extremely intelligent man and deeply committed to his work, who will not give up until he brings everything to an end – he said about the character he plays.

The film is directed by Michał Gazda, known for the film “Squacker” produced for Netflix. The script is the work of Bartosz Staszczyszyn. In addition to Olaf Lubaszenko, the film will also feature Jędrzej Hycnar, Wiktoria Gorodeckaja and Magdalena Boczarska. The premiere of the film “The Heist” on Netflix is scheduled for autumn 2024.
