In the last episode of “Va Banque”, as usual, three players faced each other: Paweł – a musician from Krakow, Konrad – a student from Łódź and Krzysztof, known to the viewers – an oncologist from Olsztyn. The player appeared in the studio for the fifth time, which is why he started with over PLN 50,000 in his account.

The participant’s impressive playing style, which allowed him to appear in the studio once again, was already visible in the first round. Krzysztof marked his position in the competition from the very beginning and for some time he did not let the other players have their say. Despite everything, the level between the men was quite even.
After the second stage, the doctor from Olsztyn was significantly ahead of his rivals. He quickly accumulated PLN 10,000 in his account, and when the second round ended he had almost PLN 14,000. The participant’s opponents were far behind. The final category was “British women writers”. The participants had to create a question about the issue: her first crime novel, “The Cuckoo’s Calling”, was published under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
Paweł and Konrad unanimously bet on Agatha Christie and lost the money they bet. Krzysztof risked PLN 3,400 and wrote down the author of Harry Potter – JK Rowling. The risk paid off. The participant won the program once again and finished the episode with PLN 17,000 in his account. In total, he won approximately PLN 70,000 in the competition.
The “Va Banque” participant appealed to the audience
Krzysztof from Olsztyn will go down in the history of “Va Banque” not only because of the high winnings. As the new host said during the program, the oncologist from Olsztyn became the champion of the game when “Va Banque” was still hosted by Kazimierz Kaczor, he won again during the term of office of Przemysław Babiarz, and now he repeated his success when the host is Radosław Kotarski.
However, this is still not the end of unusual moments in the program. Krzysztof from Olsztyn, due to his profession, appealed to the viewers during the game show. During a conversation with Kotarski about his profession, he asked viewers not to forget about preventive examinations. He emphasized that thanks to them, the chance of curing cancer is much greater.
