One of the top destinations for the May weekend is beautiful and warm Italy. When intensively exploring the capital – Rome, remember to: do not eat or drink on the steps and courtyards of churches. Additionally, it is worth keeping in mind no sitting down on the famous Spanish Steps. Since 2019, this provision has been strictly monitored.

Another interesting entry concerns Switzerland. After 10 p.m., flushing the toilet is prohibited apartments. This rule was introduced out of respect for other residents and not to disturb them at night. Private homes are not covered by this regulation.

You went to for your May holiday Great Britain? Buckingham Palace is sure to make you dizzy! While visiting, remember to be respectful and serious. If you don’t want to break local laws, don’t forget to avoid accidentally… dying in the UK Parliament! because it is forbidden.

The last provision that definitely caught our attention concerns France. As a sign of respect for the great, past ruler, it is valid throughout the country ban on naming pigs after Napoleon.

Each country, not only European ones, has its own law. As tourists, we are not exempt from observing it. The examples given are only some of the provisions for which, despite their absurdity, we can be severely punished.
