Jacek Łągwa made a great career thanks to his performances in the Ich Troje band. Today, the group no longer attracts such crowds as it once did, but it is still recognizable in Poland. A few months ago, the musician surprised fans by admitting that he was changing his profession. Fearing the financial crisis, he decided to find an alternative and… an electrician. Jacek Łągwa composed the group’s greatest hits, but as a child he did not dream of becoming a musician. He also didn’t think about a career as an electrician. He wanted to follow in his parents’ footsteps and become an actor.

Janina Borońska made her debut on stage in 1966. A year later, she graduated from the Łódź Film School. However, it was not her first choice, as she initially studied Polish studies. After her first failure in the entrance exam, she was encouraged to apply for acting studies by her future husband, also an actor, Andrzej Łągwa.
She performed with him at the New Theater in Łódź, as well as in cabarets. She appeared on screen as an actress for the first time in the film “Beata”. She also starred in productions such as “Holy War”, “How I Unleashed the Second World War”, “Quack” (as Rafał Wilczur’s assistant), as well as in the series “” (available on TVP VOD), in which she played radio operator Irena. Andrzej Łągwa, in turn, played, among others, in “Doctor Ewa” and “Chłopi”.

Jacek Łągwa’s career was predicted by a fortune teller to his mother. “I asked my son when fame would come”
Janina Borońska and Andrzej Łągwa got married in 1965. Four years later, their only son, Jacek, was born. – The fortune teller said I would only have one child, a son. She noted that he would be very, very famous. I asked my son when fame would come. And it came… It turned out that there was something true in this prophecy – in 2011 in “Dziennik Łódzki”. Jacek Łągwa took his first steps in show business on screens. In 1978, he played in the film “The Funeral of a Cricket”, and two years later he appeared in the film “The Extraordinary Adventures of Mr. Kleks”. Ultimately, he chose a career as a musician and composer. Andrzej Łągwa died on March 2, 2022.
