In an interview with Party.pl, Aleksander Sikora recalled the beginning of his work on the set of “Pytania na breakfast” as a host. First, he prepared materials about show business for several years, but this is a completely different role. He doesn’t hide the fact that he was under stress. What’s more, taking on the role of host of a breakfast program meant a partial loss of privacy and much greater recognition, which also has an impact on people:
I didn’t realize it, and years later I came to the conclusion that it’s not like my work is completely cost-free. I bear the consequences of this work, but every job carries some risk and costs.
These were not easy years when I was put on a so-called pedestal, in the spotlight, because I felt watched from different sides. But I also knew what I was playing – he said in an interview with Party.pl.
Changes in TVP
Regardless of the sympathy that viewers had for Aleksander Sikora and his TV couple Małgorzata Tomaszewska, there was no place for them on the “new” TVP after the changes in December 2023. Most of the entertaining faces of Television who powdered propaganda in the newsroom were replaced with fresh names. The “Pytania na breakfast” team has been replaced in its entirety. In an interview with Party.pl, Sikora revealed that he already has “plan B” ready and will soon sign a contract in a new place. He not only hosted a breakfast program on Polish Television, but was also responsible for a significant part of the musical events organized by TVP – he hosted various concerts and commented on Eurovision in recent years.
