However, in Wednesday’s episode of the program it was not so spectacular.
“Millionaires”. The PLN 40,000 question turned out to be impossible
Viewers sometimes get irritated when the questions in the program’s guaranteed thresholds are too easy. From the couch, this probably covers most of your questions. For a change, Mr. Marcin did not come across any such during his gameplay. He was surprised by a seemingly simple question from history about Albrecht Hohenzollern, the last master of the Teutonic Order, but unfortunately he failed to mark the correct answer.
The Master of the Teutonic Order, Albrecht Hohenzollern, paid tribute to King Sigismund the Old, who was:
- A. his great-grandfather
- B. his mother’s brother
- C. his father’s brother
- D. his father
Answer D was eliminated fairly quickly, but since the intricacies of genealogy in history are not something that is often discussed in school classes, it ended up being a fail. Mr. Marcin marked answer C, meanwhile B was correct: Hohenzollern was related to our king through his own mother, Zofia Jagiellon, daughter of Casimir IV Jagiellon.
“Millionaires” with records
The spring edition of “Millionaires” gave the main prize to two players. Mr. Mateusz Żaboklicki and Tomasz Boruch left the studio much richer and became the sixth and seventh winners of the program, respectively. This most likely means that by the end of the current season of the show, none of the players will be able to do this.
