Bayer Full is undoubtedly one of the most popular disco polo bands. There is probably no person in Poland who would not recognize such hits as “Blondyneczka”, “Majteczki w kroeczki” and “All Poles”. Sławomir Świerzyński has been the leader from the very beginning. The manager is his wife, who sometimes sings in the choir, and the band includes their children: Damian, Sebastian and Nikola.

Before Świerzyński founded the Bayer Full band, he was a music teacher, church organist and led a scout group. It was at one of the scout camps that he met his wife Renata. He was 22, she was 16. She was his student. They got married, had three children and got along so well that they decided to combine their private and professional lives. However, their relationship wasn’t always rosy. – Renata endured a lot with me. There were times when various people, including girls, drove me home in the morning. She took me from their hands – said Sławomir in one of the magazines. There is a clear division of responsibilities in their home. Renata is in charge of finances. The singer doesn’t even have a credit card. – My wife has money for everything and can buy whatever she wants and wherever she wants. When I need money, I tell her that I need to buy this or that and I get it – he confessed in an interview with “”.
Kidnapping of the son of a famous singer. Sebastian Świerzyński was 20 years old then
In 2004, the couple experienced dramatic moments. Their son Sebastian was kidnapped. He was 20 years old then and studied at a postgraduate school in Płock. When he was riding his bike back through the forest, four men blocked his way and threw him into a car. Renata was worried that her son had not returned home and informed Sławomir about it. After a few hours, the kidnapper called them and demanded PLN 500,000 in ransom. – I didn’t hesitate for a moment, I knew I had to notify the police, even though the kidnappers threatened that if I did, they would kill Sebastian and kidnap Damian’s younger son. Going to the police was the best thing I could do, recalled Świerzyński. Fortunately, the police managed to rescue Sebastian and the family could be whole again.
