The latest thriller series produced by CANAL+ is based on the best-selling novel by Wojciech Chmielarz about a nameless avenger who takes the side of the wronged and weaker. “‘A Simple Matter’ is an action series that makes an impression, raises the heart rate from the very first scene and draws viewers into a story about debt, justice and honor,” we read in the description.

In “A Simple Matter”, the main roles were played by Mateusz Damięcki, whom we had already seen as a hooligan in “Furioza”, and Piotr Adamczyk, who will appear for the first time as a demonic mafioso from the border region of Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic.
‘A Simple Matter’ is the story of a man who comes to the Jelenia Góra Valley to pay a debt of PLN 200 to his friend, Prosty. It turns out that his friend has a terminally ill daughter, for whose treatment he stole money from a borderline and ruthless mafia, and now he is wanted by them. The Nameless One makes the only morally right decision, thus triggering a series of dramatic events. He goes to war with gangsters, risking everything. From now on, he will fight for his life, and not only his own, against the mafia of the Jelenia Góra underworld. A seemingly simple matter will quickly turn into a daring action movie with a story about principles that never devalue themselves – this is the detailed description of the series.
In the cast, apart from Adamczyk and Damięcki, we will also see such stars as: Mateusz Więcławek (“The Teacher”, “The Woman from…”), Mateusz Kmiecik (“The Murderers”), Iza Kuna (“When’s the wedding?”, “In-laws”, ” Lejdis”), Magdalena Wieczorek (“Zadra”), Maciej Musiał (“Chłopi”, “When will the wedding?”, “Rodzinka.pl”), vocalist Krzysztof Zalewski (“Because there is sex in me”) and Daniel Olbrychski and Maciej Damięcki .

The scriptwriter and director of the series is Cyprian T. Olencki (“Furioza”), the cinematography is handled by Klaudiusz Półlit (“Furioza”), the set design – Natalia Maciejewska (“Emigracja XD”), the costumes – Milena Jaroszek (“Furioza”), makeup – Alina Janerka (“Little Death”), and sound design by Jerzy Murawski (“The Hidden Network”) and Grzegorz Żaglewski.
– There are lots of action scenes, shootings, fights, car escapes and, I hope, quite specific situational humor. So everything that characterizes such stories. Mateusz Damięcki, Iza Kuna, Piotr Adamczyk, in my opinion, in surprising roles, very different from their previous employees. A new generation of actors, Magda Wieczorek, Mateusz Kmiecik, Mateusz Więcławek, Maciej Musiał and, attention, Krzysztof Zalewski; they all created very cool and expressive characters.
