It would seem that there are no catches when it comes to using cosmetics. Mostly all the information we need is written on the sticker. And if not, we can easily find opinions about them on the Internet. However, it turns out that the problem may arise with the packaging itself. Many manufacturers choose one type, which is certainly more profitable to produce and easy to use. However, because of this, we often throw money into the trash. Literally.
She cut open the cream and showed what was inside. This causes us to waste money
On the Internet you will find a lot of tricks and tips related to many areas of life. They make everyday activities easier and save time and money. There is no shortage of beauty tips among them. A few weeks ago, a video appeared on the Instagram profile of user Keneda Rojas, in which she showed her fans a popular problem related to cosmetics packaging.
Cosmetics in a tube are convenient to use, but problems often arise when using them. This is when the product runs out. Its remains lie on the walls and sometimes you have to make a real effort to get them outside. Some people cut open the packaging and pull out the remains with their finger. But then we can scratch or even cut our skin. Moreover, we expose the remaining cream or conditioner to drying out.
It turns out this can be easily solved. And all you need is a pair of scissors. Yes, you have to cut the packaging at the very top, but that’s not all. We don’t put our finger or anything else there to get out the remnants of the product. Instead, we unscrew the nut from the other side and then insert it into the cut hole. Use your finger or a hard tool (e.g. a pen or mascara) to push the cork inside the packaging. In this way, we collect the remnants of the drug from the walls and squeeze them out. If there are a lot of leftovers, we can leave them in the tube. Due to the small hole, the cream will not dry out and we will be able to use it next time.
“It hurts me to throw away a cream that supposedly has ‘nothing’ in it”
Many followers of the author of the post really liked this method. It was liked over 700,000 times and there were many comments. Many people noticed the significant savings in money. After all, it sometimes happens that a lot of the product remains inside the package and we throw it into the trash. Some people laughed that it was a problem for poor people, but it is worth worrying about wasting products and money, regardless of your financial situation.
A trick for the poor.
This is great, because it hurts me a lot to throw away a cream that supposedly has “nothing” in it anymore. Especially when it’s expensive.
I’ve been doing this for years. I never thought poverty could be popularized and romanticized haha!
