Born in Minnesota, Chris Pratt never expected his life to take such a spectacular turn when he was young. After a short college adventure, which he graduated after just one semester, he found himself in Hawaii at the age of 19. It was there that his most extraordinary life adventure began.

Moving to Los Angeles
Pratt didn’t hesitate long. Packing his things, he left for Los Angeles, where his professional acting career was to begin. Although the film in which he made his debut was never released and, according to Chong, “was weak”, for Pratt it was a gateway to a new life. “The moment she told me she was taking me to LA, I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life,” the actor said in an interview for Entertainment Weekly.
The beginnings in Hollywood were not easy. Pratt struggled with a lack of steady employment for several years, while also working in a restaurant to support himself financially. He recalled trying to save money on food by eating leftovers from customers’ plates.
