Indicators taken into account included the unemployment rate, average wages, housing prices on the secondary market, as well as access to National Health Fund doctors and air quality. 16 provincial cities were analyzed. Which Polish city is the best to live in? To the surprise of many, Olsztyn turned out to be the winner of the ranking. Although he did not win in any category, he collected the most points. This meant that the capital of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship clearly outclassed cities such as Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław. According to the report, the capital took only seventh place. The position was influenced primarily by the worst availability of apartments, but also by the worst air quality. In turn, Poznań, which won the ranking last year, is only third in the current ranking, ex aequo with Gdańsk. Lublin took second place.
