Lennon and McCartney, the children of the two famous members of the Beatles, have come together to release a song, ‘Primrose Hill’, in honor of that area of north London.
James McCartney, son of Paul and Linda McCartney, and Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, have co-written this acoustic song that seeks to reflect the power of panoramic views of the British capital that Primrose Hill has.
On his Instagram account, James McCartney, 46, says: ‘Primrose Hill’ is here. Today I am very excited to share my latest song co-written with my good friend Sean Ono Lennon.”
“With the release of this song it feels like we’re really getting things going and I’m so excited to continue sharing music with you,” he added.
For his part, Paul McCartney offered his support for the song by sharing it on his social media accounts, as well as Send your love to Sean Ono Lennonwho is 48 years old.
The collaboration of the children of two great celebrities adds to other solo projects that they have done in the past. ‘Primrose Hill’ is James McCartney’s second release this year after returning with “Beautiful” in February, his first release since 2016, while Sean Ono Lennon has a string of solo albums to his name.
