Love fell on them like a bolt from the blue, and they had no intention of giving up what fate had brought them. After graduating in 1991, Zelt and Gawryluk went together to Warsaw, where they took their first steps on the stage – she at the Contemporary Theater and he, among others. in Dramatyczny. Initially, they could not count on high earnings – their modest wages were enough to pay for a studio apartment and basic needs.

However, over time, the financial situation changed – they both started their careers on the big screen. Gawryluk appeared in, among others, “Szuler” and “Wielka wysypa”, while Zelt gained popularity thanks to the role of Arnie in “The 13th Precinct”. Their loved ones moved from a rented studio apartment to a larger, three-room apartment. Financial and professional successes, unfortunately, did not go hand in hand with those in the private sphere.

Ewa Gawrylu and Piotr Zelt got engaged, but they never got married. Their relationship fell apart overnight. The reason was supposedly a different vision of the future. While Gawryluk wanted to get married and start a family, Zelt refrained from taking the next step. The actress did not cope with the breakup with her beloved: “I turned to antidepressants and alcohol. I finally went to psychotherapy,” she said in one of the interviews. Years later, they both found happiness with someone else. Gawryluk married Waldemar Błaszczyk, with whom she had a daughter, Maria. In turn, Zelt married Ewa Bujnowicz. The couple separated in 2012, but their daughter Nadia was born before that.
