Their preparation method is also very simple – just throw a few bags into boiling water for a few minutes and heat treat them. However, cooking food packaged in this way is not the healthiest solution for us.

It’s all because of the chemical compound found in plastic bags, i.e Bisphenol A (BPA), which, under the influence of high temperature, penetrates the cooked content and has a negative effect on the body. According to reports, it can lead to, among others, obesity, thyroid and hormone problems, and heart problems.

How to cook loose rice without a bag? A simple way to make the perfect addition to dinner

It is worth reaching for non-packaged products if we want to take care of our health and . Many people do not realize that making rice without using plastic bags is not the most difficult thing to do.

  1. Start by measuring the amount of rice needed and prepare twice as much water.
  2. Rinse the rice thoroughly in a strainer to remove excess starch and dust from the grains. Do this several times until the water is no longer cloudy.
  3. Boil the prepared water and add the rice.
  4. Once it boils again, reduce the heat and cover the pot.
  5. Cook the rice covered for about 10 – 15 minutes.
  6. Then turn off the burner and leave the rice for about 5-10 minutes to absorb the remaining moisture evenly.
