The ABBA singer lived with her psycho fan. When she discovered who he was, she was terrified

Living under the same roof as your psycho fan and not having a clue? Such a situation happened to the singer ABBA, who only later found out who she was really dealing with.

Agnetha Fältskog was unlucky in love. Singer Abby first married composer Björn Ulvaeus, whom she met during a summer tour of Folkparks. At that time, Agnetha was already engaged to the German producer Dieter Zimmermann, but the feeling that connected her with the newly met musician turned out to be stronger.

Agnetha Fältskog was divorced twice. Later, she became involved with her psycho lover

The singer married her beloved in 1971, and two years later she welcomed her daughter Lida into the world. Four years after the birth of the girl, the couple had a son, Peter. Agnetha and Björna, together with their friends, founded the group ABBA, which in the mid-1970s gained recognition throughout Europe. Although the singer was happy with the band’s success, she also felt overwhelmed by the fame that accompanies her work as a musician. The problem was also noticed by the remaining members of ABBA, who, a few years after the dissolution of the formation, did not even want to listen to their own songs.

However, Agnetha and Björn’s marriage broke up in 1979, at the time of the band’s greatest popularity. The emotions accompanying the singer at that time became the inspiration for the song “The Winner Takes It All”. Despite her turbulent past, Agnetha was not discouraged from love. She married again in 1990, this time to surgeon Tomas Sonnenfeld. The couple only lasted three years.

After the divorce, the singer became involved with the Dutchman Gerth van der Graaf. The man allegedly had feelings for the ABBA star from early childhood, when he first heard the song “Waterloo”. Years later, the man moved to the same neighborhood as Agnetha, trying to do everything to make her finally pay attention to him. That’s what happened – Gert met a singer who was initially fascinated by him.

The man’s true colors became visible only when the couple lived under one roof. It quickly turned out that Gert was morbidly jealous of his beloved. When she objected to his behavior, he followed her, sent her letters and called her private number. He did everything to reach her. Agnetha reported the case to the court, which decided to deport van der Graaf from Sweden.
