Last Tuesday, an apology addressed to Krzysztof Brejza, who was the head of the Civic Coalition’s electoral staff in 2019, was published on TVP Info’s social media and on the station’s website. At that time, the tvp.info website published articles by Samuel Pereira, which revealed the politician’s private correspondence obtained using Pegasus.

“Telewizja Polska SA in liquidation apologizes to Krzysztof Brejza for the fact that the content of Krzysztof Brejza’s private correspondence was falsely presented in the article published on the tvp.info website and then repeated many times in the materials presented on TVP Info and TVP1” – we read on social media TVP Info.
Moreover, the statement noted that in the indicated materials “the senders and the addressee of the message were swapped” and “various statements by Krzysztof Brejza addressed to different people were compiled.” It was also noted that this created the impression that the politician was “engaged in unlawful conduct.”

TVP’s apology is the result of the judgment of the District Court in Bydgoszcz from mid-December last year, which ordered an apology and payment of PLN 200,000. zlotys. The injured party himself referred to the case, whom I quote. “TVP apologizes to me for publishing TVPiS manipulated, falsified correspondence stolen using the Pegasus system (author of the lampoon [Samuel – przyp. red.] Pereira),” we read.
In turn, Dorota Brejza, in an interview with the portal, did not hide her joy at the publication of the apology. – This is the result of years of work and we are glad that we got justice. It’s a great satisfaction to see such an apology after many years, it’s moving for me – said the lawyer and politician’s wife. The apology was also broadcast in Tuesday’s edition of the “19:30” daily.
