TVN24 journalist after surgery. Diagnosis: tumor. “Half a millimeter from the speech organ”

Joanna Kryñska, a long-time TVN24 journalist, provided information about her health condition. She hasn’t been on TV for some time. She had to undergo a difficult operation.

Joanna Kryńska has been associated with TVN24 for years. She had previously disappeared for slightly longer periods of time – after giving birth to her children, she took several months’ breaks from work. Now, however, the absence was forced by a serious illness, which the journalist announced on social media.

The journalist announced on Instagram that she had undergone a difficult operation. At the beginning of March, she was diagnosed with a tumor near her “speech apparatus”. Joanna Kryńska spared observers the exact details, but it is known that she recently underwent a serious head surgery, which suddenly forced her to be absent from work for a long time.

I haven’t been with you for some time, but I have some very nice messages from you: What’s going on? After an MRI of the head – on March 8 – I found out that I was going to have surgery. I fell into Grześ’s arms after the result. But he picked me up. It was necessary to act.

There came a moment when I was alone. What did I feel before the surgery, knowing the details? That I have to do this, that this is my task. And it worked. I knew how close the tumor was to the speech organ. Half a millimeter. I talk, I walk, I regain strength quickly, and my hair grows back. The histopathology result was very good. After the surgery, I have a second life, she wrote.

She also appealed to observers to get tested without fear. “If something worries you, worries you, or hurts strangely – do as I did, don’t leave it. Get checked out!” – she added. Joanna Kryńska, together with her ex-husband, Tomasz Marc, a former TVN24 journalist, wrote the book “Oncologists. Fight to the Death and Life” in 2016, which is a record of in-depth interviews with Polish oncologists.
