The Marvel star was sentenced for assaulting his ex-girlfriend

Jonathan Majors was convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The incident took place in March last year when the couple were returning home by taxi.

On Monday, April 8, Jonathan Majors was sentenced in connection with the attack on his ex-girlfriend. By the court’s decision, the actor will not go to jail, but will have to undergo a 52-week domestic violence prevention program. The former Marvel movie star was also banned from approaching Grace Jabbari or purchasing firearms. For violating any of these provisions, the actor may be arrested and imprisoned for a year.

Jonathan Majors was convicted

Recall that Jonathan Majors was charged with three counts of third-degree assault, second-degree aggravated harassment, and three counts of attempted third-degree assault and second-degree harassment. At the end of Monday’s hearing, Grace Jabbari made a statement in which she said that the actor might also harm other women in the future, believing that he was above the law. The accused did not comment on these words.

The hearing concerned the events that took place in March last year. The actor then called 911 and told the dispatcher that he was concerned about the condition of his girlfriend, with whom he lives in an apartment in the Chelsea district. Grace Jabbari told officers that Majors attacked her while they were returning home in a taxi. The police noticed traces on the woman’s body indicating that physical violence may have occurred.

Due to the accusations, Jonathan Majors lost most of his roles in Disney films. He was also fired by Marvel Studios, which had recently hired him to play Kang the Conqueror, one of the main characters of the Multiverse Saga.
